You are my favorite poem
From the heart of your guts
To the skin of your toes
And I even love the parts
Everybody knows
Whether or not they care
Those eyes, that smile, that hair
I know you by heart
I quote you incessantly
I’m not always all that smart
But baby you bring out the best in me
When I’m alone
When I’m at home or on
Public transportation
Public transportation
I could fill fifty mason jars with
Thinking of you
It might sound kind of gross
But I know it’s true
Inside me you are infinity
Inside me you are infinity
I think you’re the best
That’s why I like to keep fresh
You are my favorite poem
And you are constantly changing
And you are constantly changing
So let me read you
Another three times tonight
I want to feel the shape of your meter
Find all the places you rhyme
And when I fall asleep with my
Ear to your heartbeat
I’ll recite you again and again
I’ll recite you again and again and again
And again
This is the why
You and I become we
You’re my favorite poem

You know, it wasn't my favorite for a while, but for some reason i decided to listen to it on loop a few weeks ago and now I can't stop thinking about it.
I love the synths, the tone, the lyricism, even the music videos which I feel I should mention!!!
(also, should've been me reminds me a bit of abba which is an automatic bonus in my book) praisedrays

I’m so grateful this crossed my path. This album is so beautiful. All the clear technique and mastery and vision are kinda secondary to the fact that this album brought me calm and joy during one of the most difficult times in my life. Yeah, grateful. David McCullough
